This is a five minute sneak preview of the feature length documentary about musician Jeff Korba set for a New Jersey screening on June 22nd. Friends, family and fans of Jeff are able to see this screening for free but MUST be on the guest list. Read the copy of the announcement below to get on the guest list.
News Release Announcement made on 5/09/09:
Today, I am thrilled to announce the New Jersey screening date and details for On Point: The Legacy of Jeff Korba! Dave Steffan, the principal of Jeff’s high school has graciously agreed to let the school auditorium be the location for the first screening of the feature length documentary. To see this work of love and inspiration brought to the big screen is very exciting and it is certain to be a moving experience for Jeff’s friends and family. I cannot express how deeply moved I am that On Point will be shown in the very high school that provided Jeff with his education and encouraged his musical talent. We will watch the film on a screen above the very same stage he played so many times in talent shows.
I have always wanted friends and family to see the movie without having to pay a ticket charge and thanks to Principal Steffan and Voorhees High School there will be no charge to see this screening. To make sure we have enough seating for all who wish to attend and to assure we can make arrangements if the attendance is more than we expect we must require everyone to RSVP me at bill@crumlicnews.com before June 15th to be on the guest list and attend the showing. If you are not on our guest list and the show fills up you will not be allowed to attend because of maximum occupancy laws in public gathering spaces so it is important to RSVP as early as possible. I will send back a confirmation e-mail with the school physical location, directions and a Google Maps link to all who RSVP before the 15th. Those who are unable to RSVP by e-mail may call the Crumlic News Services phone at 646-596-6652. If you get voice mail leave your name, spelling and a way to contact you (in case of changes).
The screening will take place on Monday, June 22nd. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the film will begin at 7:00 p.m. The movie is 85 minutes long. We have been fortunate to not require any sponsorships or commercial messages to fund the film and the various services it has taken to complete the project. In keeping with Jeff’s spirit everyone will be able to see the film for free before I take it to the film festivals and pitch it to HBO, Sundance/IFC Channel, Television networks and other venues. Please take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the film on the big screen for free and to enjoy the fellowship of Jeff’s people! RSVP today!
