Crumlic Media - Bill Crumlic Videography and Production

Art Gallery Video Services

Over the past few years I have been developing a unique video product specifically designed for art galleries, artists, museums and other arts venues. It involves any event at the gallery such as a show/exhibit opening or artist reception. I come to the event and gather video of the happenings and interview key persons including the artists, staff and guests. Within a few days I present the gallery with a finished video for uploading to the website or any of the many video sites on the internet.

eDavid Gallery

Below are links to examples of projects I have produced for the eDavid Gallery in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania while developing the idea. This gallery is owned and operated by my very first art gallery client David Stravitz who lives here in Manhattan. I have produced these over the past three years and refined the process during that time.

In February of 2010 the Agora Gallery in Chelsea, New York City was welcomed as a new cleint of my arts video services. Agora Gallery is connected to fantastic artists and galleries around the world.

I am also including examples of related arts videos produced to promote former United Nations Chief Photographer John Isaac of New York, The Verdi Square Festival of the Arts in Manhattan and a National Geographics Exhibit at the Allentown Art Museum in Pennsylvania.

There are several formats that I have used for art gallery and art promotional videos. The most popular is called a Nat-Sound package. In this type of video the story is told by the people interviewed by me at the event with no voice over or reporter. This is the most popular method and all of the e-David, John Isaac and Allentown Art Museum pieces are produced as Nat-Sound packages. I also offer the option of having a narrator voice over or even an arts news story story with myself in the role of reporter. The Verdi Square Festival video is an example of the arts news story.

I love to create videos that are works of art by themselves, while treating the artists, gallery staff and guests with respect. These videos can be used on the gallery, artist or musem websites and uploaded to YouTube, Facebook or any of the other video sites available. If the gallery has a media room the video could also be presented on a widescreen television or computer screen in the gallery for guests who were not at the reception. There are many possibilities!

I keep all of the raw video materials and finished products in my video library for future use by the client. There are many potential future uses of the stored video such as highlights of the gallery’s year, a memorial for an artist or patron who has passed away or any other use the gallery could come up with. I am eager to meet with you to discuss how my video service can make your gallery or museum stand out with this new video idea. Be among the first arts venues to take advantage of this unique service.

I have various rate packages to fit the budget of most any gallery or arts venue. Please call Bill Crumlic at 646-596-6652 or e-mail Bill@crumlicnews.com to discuss your special video project!
