On Stage Video

Our ON STAGE video is perfect for various types of live performance including but not limited to live theater, music, stand up comedy, lectures and  some seminar programs. We offer various packages and a la carte options to choose the elements that best suit your need and budget.

On Stage performance video.

Live theatre, musical performances, stand-up comics, lectures and conference speakers. Please contact us for rates.

One camera on tripod with one camera operator.

This budget conscious option includes one continuous shot with some slow zooms/pulls between wide, medium and tight shots. This is not very interesting visually for a performance longer than a few  minutes but it does allow you to review your performance for critique purposes or for a formal record of the event yet we still have the ability to pull selected clips for promotional use.

Two cameras-each on a tripod with one camera operator.

One camera is in a fixed position and used for the wide or medium shot of the stage through the whole performance. A second camera on tripod with an operator gathers tight and medium shots. Video from both cameras is edited together to create a visually interesting complete performance.

This is good for posting online, to a computer ready file or on DVD or BluRay.

Two cameras-each on a tripod and  each with a camera operator.

Includes one camera on tripod with an operator who is able to shoot wide and medium shots of the stage through the performance. A second camera on tripod with a camera operator gathers wide, medium and tight shots from a second position. The camera operators coordinate their shots with each other to present the best possible visuals.

Video from both cameras is edited together to create a complete performance that is visually compelling and interesting. This is the great for posting online or producing to DVD/BluRay.

Up to four cameras, with tripods and two to four camera operators.

The perfect scenario brings together three camera angles edited to show the performance with occasional audience reaction shots and more visual interest in angles. One of the cameras is free to move around and get great close up audience reactions or action.

This video product is excellent for posting online, DVD, BlueRay or for television. We also suggest this option for any program where audience reaction is important to the end product. Also excellent for lectures or seminars with a question and answer period. Video is delivered on data disc, DVD or BluRay disc.

More options available:

There are a few extra elements that can be added to further polish and finish the final video.

Wireless connection to the house audio system or lavaliere microphone on speakers/performers.

This is primarily for lectures, presentations, stand-up comedy, and performances with three or fewer people on stage. This option provides the best possible audio clarity in the final video.

The various options above  are for ambient room audio (camera or shotgun microphone) which depend greatly on the quality of sound the audience experiences in the auditorium or from house speakers. Echo in the venue, air conditioning equipment and audience noise can all have an effect of the quality. By using the wireless system we are able to provide the highest possible voice quality reaching into the camera recording system.

When there is a house audio system being and the people on stage are already wearing microphones, we are also able to plug directly in to the house sound system and have all performance audio sent directly to the camera. One other option is to place wireless lavalier microphones on each performer, speaker or podium.

Include the Power Point presentation used.

When videotaping a lecture or speaker who includes a Power Point presentation, the screen is generally difficult to read on the video. For lectures that include a Power Point presentation we can include the original slides as part of the video. We add the slides in in post production and avoid the need to move the camera to the screen. This is quite popular for conferences, lectures and seminars.

Opening Titles.

Show/event name, location and date of performance with your logo.

Opening Titles with Voice Over.

Same as above with voice over introduction.

Opening Video Sequence.

There are many potential shots to choose from such as exterior shots of the venue, performer(s) arriving and back stage preps for the show. We are open to other ideas for the opening sequence.

End Credits.

Include anyone you wish to list who was part of putting the show or materials together such as producer, writer, key venue staff, agent, video crew and more.

Additional Copies of DVD or DVD data disc.

A Master Copy of the video is provided to the client on DVD, BluRay Disc or DVD/data disc. Additional copies can be provided at the time of your order or long after the production has been delivered. We keep a copy of your project in our file system in case you ever need more.
